Photography

Photography of your work, your team and your finished jobs.

What this is for

Work that is judged on how it looks when it is finished. Photographs of real jobs do something stock images cannot: they show that the work exists and that it was done by you. One shoot supplies material for a site, a listing, a brochure and months of posts. The main constraint is timing — finished work is photographable for a short window, and getting access afterwards is rarely as easy.

What it covers

  • On site, on the day

Shot where the work is, at a time chosen for light and for access rather than for convenience.

  • Before and after pairs

Matched viewpoints so the two are genuinely comparable, which requires the before frame to be taken before the work starts.

  • Team and portraits

Pictures of the people, because a business somebody is trusting with a job is easier to trust when it has faces.

  • Retouched and delivered

Edited to a consistent look and supplied in the sizes and formats each place they are used will need.

What you end up with

  • A shoot on your site, on the day

Planned around access, weather and the state of the work rather than fitted into a fixed slot.

  • Edited images, consistent with each other

Colour and exposure matched across the set, so they read as one body of work rather than as separate visits.

  • Before and after pairs

Aligned to the same viewpoint, wherever the before frame was taken in time.

  • Sized for print and for feeds

Full-resolution originals plus crops for the places they will actually be published.

What we need from you

  • A date and access to the site

Including whoever can let us in, and any site rules or induction that has to be met first.

  • What the pictures are going to be used for

A brochure, a website header and a square social post are framed differently at the moment of shooting, not afterwards.

  • What must not be photographed

Anything commercially sensitive, and any person who has not agreed to appear.

How a project runs
